about

The founder.

Shlomo Kashani builds frontier AI and quantum systems — and studies the high-stakes decisions that ride on them. He builds production machine-learning systems — large language models, retrieval, and agentic AI — and works in applied quantum computing, while pursuing a doctorate in Defence and Strategic Studies at Missouri State University. His research there addresses the ethical dimensions of strategic decision-making under conditions of extreme uncertainty and compressed time, with particular focus on just war theory — how states and institutions reach morally consequential judgements when the evidentiary basis is incomplete.

His scholarly work draws on strategic-perception scholarship, just war doctrine, and documentary method to assess conduct, accountability, and institutional failure under political pressure.

His academic training spans strategic studies, quantum physics, and signal processing at Missouri State University, Johns Hopkins University, and Queen Mary University of London. Alongside his scholarly work he maintains an active technical practice in machine learning, including a Gold Medal in the Kaggle AI Mathematical Olympiad.

He has engaged extensively with scientific and international counterparts across settings ranging from the boardroom to the lecture hall, and brings a deep cross-cultural fluency — a working understanding of other nations, institutions, and the people who lead them, and of how the same decision reads differently from one capital to the next.
